Toronto Playback Theatre was founded in the summer of 2002 by Christopher von Baeyer, Erika Batdorf, Brian Barker and Sherri McFarlane. Driven by our core values of Community, Artistry and Service, our mission is to provide high quality Playback programming in public and private venues in the Toronto area. We are funded by partnerships with the Ralph Thornton Community Center, the Toronto Arts Council and the National Crime Prevention Centre. TPT offers regular monthly performances on a broad range of themes including creativity, diversity, violence, health, sexuality, food, the environment, dreams and technology. Our private clients include the Canada School of Public Service, the Hospice Association of Ontario, the Toronto District School Board, Peacebuilders International and the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation. In total we did 30 performances in 2007.
